FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
$13,000 for Victoria Hospice
After the dust settled and the final counts were in, the 2013 Cycle of Life Tour raised $24,000 for hospice care on Vancouver Island. Wendy Innes and Natasha Benn of Victoria Hospice were thrilled to be part of the Cycle of Life Tour. To date the Victoria Hospice has received over $40,000 from the Cycle of Life Tour.
“In future years, I hope to make single donations larger than this and to help spread word about hospice care all over Vancouver Island”, says Robertson.
2013 was a good year for cyclists supporting hospice; this was the 2nd annual Russ Hay’s Ambriss Clermont Memorial Ride for Hospice, which raised nearly $12,000for Victoria Hospice.
Here, Graham Robertson is presenting the Victoria Hospice with a cheque from the 2013 Cycle of Life Tour.
A huge thank you to local community sponsors who helped make this tour so successful.
