Dear Cycle of Life Tour Riders, Sponsors and Supporters,
We’re happy to introduce you to our new baby girl, Elaina June Robertson, born Sunday, October 11. Everyone is happy and well (despite the sleep deprivation!)
As you all know at this year’s event we were unsure if the Cycle of Life Tour was going to move forward after the arrival of the baby. We’re excited to announce that the Victoria Hospice, with support from the Vancouver Island Federation of Hospices, has agreed to take over the Cycle of Life Tour in the future.
The 2016 Cycle of Life Tour will take place on the weekend of July 23-24. The format will be similar to years past and the event will continue to support hospice care throughout Vancouver Island.
The team at the Victoria Hospice have been heavily involved with COLT’s execution since the beginning of the group ride format in 2013. We’ll be working closely with the Vic Hospice team during the transition and ask for your patience during the changeover.
We’re so pleased to know the Cycle of Life Tour will continue with the same level of care we’ve taken during its first three years. We’re excited to see its continued growth under the competent hands of the Victoria Hospice and with your continued support.
Thank you to all of you for participating and supporting COLT. We hope you will consider being a rider, sponsor, or volunteer again next year. If you’d like more information or are interested in joining the organizing committee, please contact Wendy at firstname.lastname@example.org or 250-519-1747.
